The Hub: Disciple Making Network in Finland
Turku, Finland | Investing in disciple-making movements across Europe
A growing network of young disciples in Finland is seeing lives changed as people come to know Jesus and are equipped to make disciples who make disciples.
Now, an exciting opportunity is opening up to take this vision further: establishing a hub in Turku — a place to welcome, equip and encourage leaders and teams from Finland and across Europe.
A Growing Vision
What began as a vision to live out Jesus' Great Commission has grown into a network of disciple-making teams in eight Finnish cities. Through shared life, discipleship and leadership development, ordinary Finns are reaching their communities and helping new disciples become disciple-makers.
The vision is reaching beyond Finland, too. Leaders and teams from across Europe are looking to learn from this experience and take the vision into their own contexts. We are in conversations with leaders from Austria, Portugal, Slovenia, the UK, and Hungary. Almost weekly, we receive inquiries from all over Europe asking, "Can you help us?"
A Place to Equip and Send
We now have an opportunity to establish a hub in Turku, in a central location. The new hub will provide homes, accommodation for visiting teams and a shared gathering space for meetings, training and everyday life together.
More than a place to meet, it will be a place where leaders are welcomed, equipped and encouraged — ready to return to their own cities and multiply disciple-making movements.
Inspired by Acts 19, where Paul equipped disciples who went on to spread the Word throughout Asia, we long to see the same multiplying impact across Finland and Europe.
Be Part of the Vision
We are seeking €200,000 in donations to help purchase shares in the housing cooperative and build and equip the hub's shared meeting facilities. All the details are in our Brochure.
Your support can help create a place where disciples are equipped, leaders are encouraged and new movements can grow.
Will you be part of what God is doing in Finland and across Europe?
