Church Planting in Nemishaieve, Ukraine

The Shevelenkos and their son, Matvey, live in Irpin, Ukraine. In 2022, they joined the volunteer center in Nemishaieve, which operated as a ministry of Irpin Bible Church (IBC).

Since then, at the invitation of IBC’s leadership, Illia joined the team which organized a new church plant in Nemishaieve. The new church is focusing on ministries for children and teenagers, displaced people, elderly, and others in need.

Iryna actively serves young mothers through the women's art space program. The Shevelenkos aspire for the church to be a light for Jesus in this community by demonstrating sincere love and good deeds every day.
